Fun With Electricity!

Click on "Fun With Electricity!" to play on an awesome site!

"Celldric's House"
or
"Night Night"

(Those parts cover safety with electricity and simple circuits, so you'll have lots of background knowledge to help you!)

: )

BBC Sites

Click on "BBC Sites" to access the games that we played in Reading today.

You can also try the math and science sites!

I played the math games today and I know you will LOVE them!
Try the division, multiplication, addition, or subtraction ones.
Even better, try the "Shape, Space, & Measure" section to do angle and grid activities! Enjoy!

Last Lunar Eclipse Until 2010 Happens Tonight!!

How exciting for us! A lunar eclipse begins tonight at 7:43pm and ends at 11:09pm. The mid-eclipse will occur at 9:26pm.

Stated directly from chicagotribune.com,
"A total lunar eclipse occurs when the full moon passes into Earth's shadow and is blocked from the sun's rays that illuminate it. During an eclipse, the sun, Earth and moon line up, leaving a darkened moon visible from the night side of Earth."

So if you are awake and your parents say it's OK, step outside to view the total lunar eclipse!! Post a comment about what you see and earn yourself 3 tallies, and earn the class a minute in the minute bank!
