Thank you all who have already donated to our project to help kids that need school supplies in Iraq....Just think about how excited you are when you receive new school supplies---The children will be so happy, and it's all because of YOU! If you haven't donated yet, just bring in any loose change you might have.
Also, you can donate any new, unused blunt-end scissors and 2-gallon ziploc bags. In addition, if your family has any blankets or kids' shoesthat can be donated, these are on the*urgent needs*list.
Thank you all for helping to spread the word about this great cause through your posters, loose change labels, commercials, and leadership. You are wonderful role models! :)
Hi fourth graders! I hope you enjoyed the lovely weather of the weekend! Unfortunately, I am feeling a lot worse than I was on Friday, so I will be staying home on Monday. Mrs. Petersen will be there, and I know that you will be on your best behavior so you can earn lots of minutes in your minute bank! Stay well, and I hope to see you on Tuesday! :)
Our school is participating in a service project, called Operation Iraqi Children. We are asking each grade to bring in two specific school supplies so that we can make kits to send to children in Iraq. We are also collecting loose change to pay for the cost of shipping the supplies. Keep an eye on the classroom blog, Friday packets, as well as posters throughout the school for more information!
