Our 3 & 3 ran a little short today, so we actually have 2 & 2.  :)

GREAT:
1.  When Miss Anderson asked students to help clean the floor, Caitlyn noticed that people were scrambling to pick up any paper they could find.  (Thanks for your help!)
2.  Dani and Amanda helped Heather clean her desk.

GOALS: (From Miss Anderson today)
1. I would love to see everyone at open house tomorrow evening between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m.  You all do such a fabulous job every day, and I'm sure your family would love to see what our classroom is all about!
2. Let's all take care of ourselves and be well for our new month of May!

1.  Heather was complimented by several students for doing a great job on the billboard presentation.
2.  Sean asked Kevin to put up a chair for him, and he did.
3.  Sean and Jonathan complimented Kevin by saying that their group "deserved to win" the "Where would you choose to live?" contest.

GOALS:
1.  Keep noticing the goodness in others.
2.  Do well on the math MAP test.
3.  Stay away from note writing during class.

Our Chapter 7 Test is Thursday, April 24.

REMINDER: We have MATH MAP testing Thursday, April 24 at 9:15am.
We have READING MAP testing on Friday, April 25 at 10:45am.

1.  Donny helped pick up a student's books in the hall.
2.  Heather, Donny, & Kevin worked as a team during social studies, and Kevin came up with the idea to make a bright rainbow on their billboard.
3.  Justin said, "Nice shot!" to Evan during recess this afternoon.  

GOALS:
1.  Run smart stepping for more than the required 5 minutes.
2.  Wear appropriate clothes to school.
3.  When voting for the "best place to live" (during billboard presentations), remember to be honest and fair.

*We have a new goal to find the greatness in one another throughout the day. Instead of just telling three activities that we enjoyed about the day, we now aim to acknowledge three individuals who did something great throughout the day!

GREAT:
1. Abby complimented Kirsten on her shirt.
2. Sarah helped Mar'Quon pick up his pencils.
3. Mar'Quon let Sean answer the question when they both raised their hands at the same time.
( Bonus: Donny picked up the books that were left in the back of the room.)
GOALS:
1. Guess Daily Detective correctly.
2. Do well on the quizzes.
3. If you see something on the floor, pick it up.

Great Work Today!


Dear Fourth Graders,
You really showed me how responsible and hard working you can be today!  It was our first day back after a nice break, and I saw you working cooperatively with your group members, behaving appropriately while in line, and participating like the eager learners you are!!
