Daily Detective Week of 12/10

MONDAY: Elvis Presley, a singer who became famous as the King of Rock and Roll, was born in this state on January 8, 1935.
TUESDAY: Coca-Cola was first bottled in 1894 in this state. Joseph A. Biedenharn poured the popular beverage into bottles so it could be delivered to rural areas that didn't have their own soda fountains.
WEDNESDAY: This state is sometimes called the Mud-Cat state for the many catfish that feed near the muddy bottoms of the state's waterways.
THURSDAY: This state's state bird, the mockingbird, is a copycat. The small gray bird imitates all sorts of noises, from playing pianos to barking dogs.
FRIDAY: More upholstered (padded and covered) furniture comes from this state than from any other state in the country.
